One thing that happened is my main systems disc died a couple of months
back, and with it my ultra tuned spam filter set up. With pressure from
work being what it is, I've not had the energy to recreate it, and my
average of 30000 spam messages a day a means that without those filters
I'm as good as netless.

Its looking more hopeful now I've rebuilt the system, and my filtering
is back to good enough that I can at least follow this conversation.

I've also cleared the spam backlog on pointless.net, so the list should
be flowing properly again.

I'll try and catch up with the backlog of conversation I've missed.

Sorry to Sepan Svatek, whose postings were stalled amid the spam on
pointless. I guess they hit the list yesterday, weeks after they were
posted.

Workload at work has gone from mad to worse, so my ability to contribute
much is limited at present.
